Beginning August 1st, the new store hours are 12 noon to 8 pm Tuesday through Saturday.  We will be closed Sundays and Mondays to pick up furniture and make deliveries. 

The Grand Opening on June 27th was GRAND.  We benchmark ourselves against other local stores, and Design DIY had more visitors than the other large high end store in the area.

Do you love only having to pay $499 for a sofa?... I would.  My problem was it was either pay $499 every year for a new one (4 children can be tough on furniture), risk the potential of bodily harm from springs popping through the fabric.....or buy a better sofa. 

That's why at Design DIY we focus on value and quality.  The upholstery we stock and distribute is made in the United States using traditional manufacturing methods.  It is quality constructed with quality fabrics and made to last for years. 

These upholstery pieces are more expensive than one from a "big-box" store, but they won't cost a fortune (unless you want it to)....and they last a lot longer. 

As an example, we personally purchased a small quality made custom sofa in 2003.  It would retail for about $1500 today.  For us, that sofa has survived the toddler through early teen years of four children (two of them boys) and still looks great.  And, it is still as comfortable as the day we bought it.  Do I expect it to look as good in another six years?  Probably not....but we should get a solid 4 more years out of it.  From my perspective 10 years for $1500 is much better value than 1 year at $500.
